Shipping Methods & Charges

Our shipping and handling prices are displayed below the item on the order pages. The amount listed is what you will be charged to have that item delivered to any address in the CONTINENTAL US.  We ship directly from Saint Augustine , Florida.  (NOTE: These rates are NOT valid to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or to international addresses).

Please Note: Because we use UPS or FedEx as our preferred shipper, we do not ship to PO Boxes.

Oversized Items

Many of our larger furniture items and oversized pieces require special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are either too large or heavy to ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, they must be shipped via Private Trucking Companies. You'll find exact shipping fees within the continental US listed on all items. If an item does require shipping via a Private Trucking Company, you'll find that information noted in the item description.

We utilize two types of Private Trucking Companies. Please refer to the product detail page to see which method of delivery will be utilized for that piece.

• Some items require a BLANKET WRAP DELIVERY SERVICE.
• Other deliveries require a FREIGHT DELIVERY SERVICE.

Blanket Wrap Delivery Service

Furniture that is shipped with a BLANKET WRAP DELIVERY SERVICE will be placed inside the main threshold of the home and require no package removal or assembly. If assembly is needed and package material removal is needed, we can arrange that but an additional fee may be required.

If a Blanket Wrap carrier is used to ship your item, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees may apply. Please be sure to notify us if you plan to be unavailable to accept delivery for an extended period of time. Once an item is in the possession of the Trucking Company, a Blanket Wrap Carrier has 14 business days to make your delivery. Certain remote or hard to reach areas may require additional time.

Freight Delivery Service

Furniture that is shipped with a FREIGHT DELIVERY SERVICE will NOT be placed inside your home. A Freight Service is a Trucking Company and not a “delivery service.” There is a single truck driver and he is only required to bring the item to the tailgate of the truck. Most will get it off the truck and help you get it curbside. A single truck driver may require your assistance to offload your package/s from the truck. Items shipped via Freight Service will be packaged in a large box/s and may include a shipping pallet. You are responsible for unpacking, placing these furnishings in the room of your choice, and discarding the packing materials. Any assembly will also be your responsibility. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees may apply. When your order arrives it is critical that you unpack and inspect the packages prior to signing for the delivery. Paddiwhack cannot be held responsible for damage that is not noted at the time of delivery.
