We are a founding member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council; a coalition of manufacturers, retailers, and designers dedicated to raising awareness and expanding the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices across the home furnishings industry.
Our products are manufactured using materials that are sustain-ably harvested, safe dyes that are food-based, and water-based finishes.
The paper of the shade is made from recycled fibers, adorned with leaves in many cases. The primary purpose of Mango trees is to bear fruit. The tree is cut down after the fruit-bearing lifespan, providing the farmer with a second source of income. Mango wood is a hardwood and is used because of its sustainability and its visual characteristics, such as its color and grain patterns.
